“Happiness is not something ready-made. It comes from your own actions.” – Dalai Lama –
I believe that people are resilient, and although life brings about many obstacles, with the right support and mindset you can overcome challenges and focus on your goals for personal growth.
As a professional, I am dedicated to empowering individuals who are coping with a wide variety of emotional, relational, and personal challenges. I work with children, adolescents, adults and families who present with an array of difficulties and who are seeking support in a nurturing and non-judgmental environment.
I have extensive experience working in the Health and Social Service Sector as well as the Educational system. This experience has created a passion for helping families overcome the many obstacles of family life, focusing on a family systems approach to change.
Crisis intervention, behavior modification, family conflict, separation/divorce, anxiety and depression are just some of the issues that I can help clients navigate in my private practice. I offer private counselling, as well as counselling through some Employee Assistance Programs, both in person or virtually.
